Scientific development … pioneering products.
Cabot Skin Care continues a legacy of innovation that spans half a century.
The superbrands Aveeno®, Oral B®, Revo®, and the whole Cooper Vision® line are among the pioneering products that came to fruition via the genius of Parker Montgomery. Cooperlabs' most recent creation is Cabot Skin Care, developed to protect skin at risk. Cooperlabs expands upon the pioneering heritage of scientific development that has laid a foundation of discovery for the synergies of naturally occurring elements and advanced scientific technologies that define the skin care industry today.
It started with a chance meeting in Santa Barbara, California. Parker Montgomery became acquainted with a few local nurses and introduced them to an amazingly effective and versatile cream from Italy. That's when the magic happened; the story began to spread, nurse to nurse, about a skin care product like no one had ever seen before.
Researchers at Boston University discovered that omental lipids have significant therapeutic and beneficial dermatologic qualities. Montgomery's Italian pharmaceutical company then formulated the only product in the world using this proprietary ingredient. P.O.L. CREAM rapidly became the standard of care for stage one pressure ulcers in Italy.
Montgomery began distributing thousands of samples to nurses and doctors in the United States. Nursing homes, dermatology clinics, podiatry offices, burn clinics, and health fairs were handing out P.O.L. CREAM by the caseload. Friends, colleagues, nurses, and doctors were hearing about a new product called P.O.L. CREAM. Before long, the Santa Barbara nursing community discovered that P.O.L. CREAM really works for dry skin, rashes, chafing, burns, itch, eczema, and other issues. Patients were bringing tubes into their doctors, saying, "This really works!" Friends were telling friends about a new skin care product that they just had to try. The story spread. Word-of-mouth. Nurse to nurse. Friend to friend. It helped with so many different skin-related problems, it seemed miraculous.
People started walking into local pharmacies and asking for the product even before distribution was in place. "Our biggest challenge," Montgomery noted, "is that P.O.L. CREAM works for so many skin problems, we don't know what part of the pharmacy it belongs in."
Never one to follow the pack, Parker Montgomery is building the business in a non-traditional, grass-roots, community-by-community fashion through a growing network of nurses who really believe in the product. The P.O.L. CREAM message is spreading via nurses, the internet, blogs, and social media like Twitter and Facebook.
The response from the nursing community has been so positive, Montgomery formed yet another new brand, Cabot Skin Care, introducing new technology to the skin care world and continuing his legacy of innovation. Montgomery noted, "P.O.L. CREAM is basically very natural. It contains no steroids - and the best part is, it really works."
